Michael and MyCresha Burns visit to Port
Elizabeth in April 2009

Michael and MyCresha Burns were in Port Elizabeth from 2 – 15 April to provide
teaching, advice and encouragement. Michael leads the Fox Valley Church of Christ
in Appleton, Wisconsin in the United states, serving as minister and teacher. He
holds a Masters degree in religion and student ministries and serves as the Family
and Parenting editor at Disciples Today (www.disciplestoday.com). He is also the creator of the UnConference,
a popular annual teaching event in the Midwestern USA. Michael and MyCresha have
been married for 12 years and have two sons, Pavielle and Elijah. |

While in Port Elizabeth, Michael ran two Saturday workshops dealing with the Will
of God and the Resurrection. He spoke at two Sunday services and two Midweek meetings,
and he and MyCresha also interacted informally with the various family groups, ministry
leaders and numerous church members. Michael also spoke at two Midweek services
in Johannesburg on route to and from Port Elizabeth.

Neil and Noeleen Trollip had the pleasure of accompanying Michael and MyCresha to
Storms River Mouth to experience with them some of the special beauty with which
God has blessed Africa. The Port Elizabeth church is extremely grateful for the
love and support received from the Burns’ and the fellowship of believers in Fox
